Who is collecting your information

Ironclad Mechanical, a heating and mechanical contractor based in Porcupine, Ontario, is the organization collecting and using the information described on this page.

What our request forms collect

When you send a request through a form on this site, such as a furnace service or furnace assessment request, the form may collect:

• Your name.
• Your phone number.
• Your email address, if you choose to provide it.
• Your community or postal code.
• The furnace service you are asking about.
• A short description of the request, if you choose to provide one.

We use it to respond to your request, manage service enquiries and route your request to the right person. When you submit a request form, you consent to us contacting you about that request by phone, text message or email. That consent covers the request you submitted; it does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing.

Necessary processing

These parts of the site work the same whether or not you accept optional tracking.

• Security check on request forms Our advertising request forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a request comes from a person and not an automated script. It runs whether or not you accept optional tracking, because the form cannot be sent safely without it.
• Delivering your request Information you voluntarily submit through a contact or request form is delivered to Ironclad Mechanical's customer relationship management (CRM) system so we can follow up on it.
• Advertising attribution on paid requests If you reached one of our advertising pages through a link that carries attribution parameters, such as a Google click identifier (GCLID) or campaign (UTM) parameters, those parameters may accompany the request you submit from that page to our CRM so we can tell, internally, which advertising led to it.
• Hosting and security Our website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Standard technical information, such as your IP address, is handled by our hosting and security providers when a page is requested or a form is sent.

Optional analytics and advertising

These are loaded only if you accept them.

• Google Analytics measurement With your acceptance, Google Analytics helps us understand how the website is used. Its event-level data is configured to be kept for up to 14 months.
• Google Ads conversion measurement With your acceptance, Google Ads conversion measurement records that a request form on an advertising page was submitted successfully, so we can measure our advertising. Google's measurement tags may use advertising click information associated with your browser or your visit to the advertising page to connect that submission to an ad you interacted with. The measurement event our website sends deliberately contains no name, phone number, email address, message or click identifier field.
• What acceptance does and does not enable Accepting optional measurement enables Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement. After acceptance, the ad_user_data consent signal is granted so Google's conversion tag can use consented ad-click information for conversion attribution: Google may use ad-click information associated with your browser or your visit to the advertising page, such as a Google click identifier (GCLID), to attribute a successful submission to an ad. This does not enable enhanced conversions, and it does not send your name, telephone number, email address or message to Google through Google Tag Manager. The ad_personalization consent signal remains denied, so personalized advertising and remarketing remain disabled.
• How it is loaded These technologies are loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you accept optional measurement.

Your choices

• On your first visit, a notice lets you accept or reject optional analytics and advertising. If you reject them, they are not loaded.
• You can change your choice at any time using the "Privacy choices" control in the footer of every page.
• Rejecting optional tracking does not disable the contact form, the request forms or the telephone links. Necessary features, including the security check on request forms, keep working.
• Your choice is stored in your browser only, so you may be asked again on another browser or device, or after clearing browser data.

Privacy choices

Service providers that may process your information

We rely on service providers to run the website and to manage enquiries. They process information on our behalf for the purposes above.

• Website hosting and security Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and provides the Turnstile security check on our advertising request forms. Necessary.
• Customer relationship management (CRM) Form submissions are delivered to the CRM system we use to manage enquiries and contact people who have asked for service. Necessary to respond to your request.
• Phone and text-message handling Calls and text messages to the phone numbers shown on our site are handled by the telephone and messaging services we use.
• Analytics and advertising Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement. Optional: loaded only after you accept optional tracking.
